Championship side Middlesbrough are keeping tabs on Wolves defender Cameron John.
Boro are monitoring the youngster’s progress on loan in League One at Doncaster Rovers, as per a report by Leicestershire Live.
Premier League duo Leicester City and Crystal Palace are also believed to be interested in him.
John, who is 20 years-old, joined Donny on a season-long loan deal last month to gain some first team experience in this campaign. He has made an impressive start to life with Darren Moore’s side and has teams watching him now.
He started his career at Southend United and rose up through their academy but switched to Wolves in 2015. He has been a regular for their Under-23’s side over the past couple of seasons.
John has made three appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side but was allowed to leave on loan this summer. He has a year left on his contract at Molinuex.
Middlesbrough are keen on him as Jonathan Woodgate looks at potential defensive options for the future. It may be the case that Wolves bring him back in January and loan him out to the Championship to test him at a higher level.
The fact that Leicester and Palace are also being linked is a compliment to John and the performances he is putting in for Doncaster so far this term. He is a player to watch out for in the future.
